TKC Bournemouth Deanery Prayer

……..

v TKC Prayer around the deanery:

St Christopher’s Church:
Will be holding 24 hour prayer from 9am Friday 26th May - 9am Saturday 27th at the church prayer room and throughout the night which will be open to any who would like to come along. Prayers during Wednesday 31st will be as usual from 10.30am and the prayer room open 9-5am throughout these 11 days.

St. Andrew's Church:
Will be holding a Pentecost Novena starting at
10.00am on the 3rd June and lasting till 11.30pm on the 4th June. During that time we will have the Church open so that people can come in and pray and also receive prayer, we will walk the Parish several times asking for God's blessing on all who live, work or visit the Parish and all seeking for opportunities for street ministry.

At the Church there will be Prayer Stations focusing on local and world events that need prayer, also for a national revival, there will be music and simple meals to share. The event will end on Sunday Morning with our Pentecost Praise Service at 10.00am which finishes at 11.30pm.

St James’ Church:
Are working with the local school and will set up three to four prayer stations in the church on 25/26 May for the children to visit the church over these two days.  We were particularly taken by the wailing wall, the sorry bin, letting go and being King or Queen for the day which are ideas from the Thy Kingdom Come resource pack.  We are doing lots of publicity and are hopeful that the children might invite their parents to experience these prayer opportunities when they pick up their children after school.  We will be giving away a short business card sized prayer to everyone who comes.

St Saviour’s Church:
Thursday 25 May, Ascension Day, 7pm -  Novena launch event at St Saviour's Church with prayer stations incorporating art work by Rebecca Priestley and other creative ways to join in prayer

Saturday 27 May, 7pm to Sunday 28 May, 7pm - 24-hour prayer event at St Saviour's Church

All Saint’s Church:
Will be having 24 hour prayer from 9am Wednesday 31st May - 9am Thursday 1st June. There will be nine prayer stations for people to come and engage with.

June 4th we will be admitting children to take communion as part of our Pentecost celebrations.

Churches Together in Southbourne:

Seven churches in Southbourne are having a 24 hour prayer event and the Salvation Army will be praying over the nine days.
